Self-portrait with bleeding nose, Riga, 2004

In Myself, Friends, Lovers and Others (2000-04) the artist uses the aesthetics of snapshot photography to merge the border between public and private. Casually posed portraits, still-lifes, and above all images of sex, form a portrait of the artist's generation.
